“Secret Garden’s” Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won Voted Celebs Who Best Fit Soldier Image

SBS’s “Secret Garden’s” Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won has been voted as the No. 1 male and female celebrities who best fits the soldier image. An amusing poll was conducted between May 3rd and the 20th, asking fans to choose which male and female celebrities would best fit the role as military officers. 981 people participated in the voting process, and “Secret Garden” co-stars Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won has been chosen in their respective categories.

Hyun Bin garnered 41.0% of the votes (403 votes) to take first place. Actor So Ji Sub took second with 27.0% (265 votes), and actor Won Bin placed third with 13.3% (130 votes). Singer-actor Rain, aka Jung Ji Hoon, and actor Kang Dong Won followed with 10.4% and 8.3% respectively. Hyun Bin is currently serving in the Marine Corps; and his popularity, as well as current enlistment, probably gave him a edge in this poll.

In the poll concerning female celebrities, actress Ha Ji Won won by a landslide with 56.8% of the votes (557 votes). Actress Song Ji Hyo, famous for her role in “Princess Hours” (2006) with Yoon Eun Hye, followed second with 13.9% of the votes. Singer Seo In Young and actress Kim Ah Joong achieved third and fourth place with 10.7% and 10.2% respectively. Ha Ji Won’s role as Kim Joo Won’s (Hyun Bin) love interest stuntwoman Gil Ra Im in “Secret Garden” boosted her image as a tough girl. Additionally, Ha Ji Won is known as one of the hardest working actresses in the industry, and she does not spare herself while doing various stunts for movies and dramas.

Following the poll results, many netizens commented, “They’re perfect!” and “If Ha Ji Won enlists, our country and the Ministry of Defense will be able to sleep in peace.”
