2NE1 Planning to Be Active in Japan in February 2012

The ladies of 2NE1 are planning to be active in Japan from February 2012 and are now busy with preparations.

One of the representatives of the pop group stated the following to a Korean news organization, “The group will probably release their new Japanese album in the second month of 2012. The decision of whether to release a mini album or a single track has not firmly been decided yet. However, we are certain that they will begin their active promotions in February of the upcoming year.”

The group has accomplished many things this past year. On December 12, the group won the poll for MTV Iggy’s “Best New Band In The World 2011” and got to perform in MTV’s very own studio in Times Square. The group’s leader CL also gave an interview to the British news organization BBC. On top of all this, the group has also been praised by many international magazines.

2NE1 also has an enormous fan base in Japan since their major success debut this year. They also got to perform on the Japanese music festival 2011 Best Hit Music Festival” on December 24, which was produced by Nippon TV.

With their popularity, which is still growing by the day, 2NE1 has now managed to stand in the global spotlights. We are looking forward to their new achievements for the upcoming year!
