Kara to Receive the Asia Star Award

Congratulations to Kara, who will be receiving the Asia Star Award! 

Later today, Kara will participate in the seventh Asia Model Awards Ceremony and recieve the Asia Star Award. This prestigious award is given to stars who show stellar achievement and excellence in the entertainment industry. Past receivers of this award include actors Lee Byung Hun, Kwon Sang Woo, and  Taiwanese singer/actor Uhn Seung Wook.

The Asia Model Awards Ceremony is a large event that features stars from 14 countries, including China, Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore. It’s mission is to spread the influence of Asian entertainment across the globe.Following in Kara’s footsteps, sister group/labelmates Rainbow will receive the New Star Award.

In other news, Kara will be participating in its first independent concert in Februrary, titled “Karasia,” touring six to seven Asian countries.
