“K-Pop Star Collection” Held in Okinawa, Japan

On November 1, SBS broadcasted the massive fashion concert, “K-Pop Collection in Okinawa.” This was the taping of the “K-Pop Collection” that took place on October 18 in the Okinawa Cellular Stadium in Japan. It was the second collection following the “K Collection in Seoul” in March 2012.

“K-Pop Collection” is a unique combination of concert and fashion show named “FACON” that features both K-Pop stars and models. Stars including After School, Teen Top, T-ara, LedApple, Secret, Supernova, ZE:A, MBLAQ, SISTAR, Boyfriend, Lee Seung Gi, 2NE1, and Kara appeared to perform as singers and also walked the runway as models.

Lee Seung Gi and actress Park Shin Hye were the main MCs. A Japanese college student who was in the audience stated, “I can’t believe I got to see so many of the K-Pop stars… It was like a dream!”
