First Script Reading of

The first script reading session for the upcoming drama, “Night King,” starring Kwon Sang Woo, Soo Ae, DBSK‘s Yunho and others, has been held.

It has been reported that Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae has shown great chemistry from the start of the script reading. The script reading was held on December 6 at a practice room in the SBS production center.

Directors Jo Young Kwang and Park Shin Woo were present as well as the cast members Kwon Sang Woo, Soo Ae, Jung Yunho, Kim Sung Ryung, Lee Duk Hwa, Cha Hwa Yeon, Lee Il Hwa and Go Joon Hee. About 60 people in total were present.

Kwon Sang Woo, who has the role of Haryu, read the script in a warm and affectionate voice to portray the innocent and pure character. He threw in some comical and humorous tones to make the atmosphere lively.

Soo Ae, who has the role of Dae Hae, carried out her script reading in a calm manner but when she really got into it, she expressed her emotions in a very detailed way.

Yunho, who has the role of Baek Do Hoon, plays the younger brother of Kim Sung Ryung, who plays the role of Baek Do Kyung. They faced each other and read the script as if they were really having a conversation between siblings.

One of Korea’s veteran actors Lee Duk Hwa commented “This drama is daebak. Let’s all do well,” which made the atmosphere even warmer.

The child actors’ acting also caught the eyes of many people. Kwon Sang Woo’s younger version Chae Sang Woo, not only has the same name but has similar looks as well.

Director Jo Young Kwang commented, “I feel great due to the good script and the great cast ensemble,” and “I hope everyone will think that they are the main characters and unite to produce a great masterpiece.”

After the script reading, everyone got together in a company dinner to mingle and get to know each other.
