Listeners Are "Falling in Love" with 2NE1

2NE1 quenched the thirst of Blackjacks with the highly anticipated release of their newest single, “Falling in Love,” at midnight July 7. Soaking it up, fans of 2NE1 scrambled to online music stores to download their new repeat song for the summer, bringing the group to the top of numerous music charts and showing the power of 2NE1.

2NE1’s “Falling in Love” topped nine local music charts within two hours of its release, according to Osen : Melon, Mnet, Olleh Music, Bugs, Soribada, Monkey3, Naver Music, Daum Music, and Cyworld. The group also topped iTunes charts in Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam. 

It’s likely we will be reporting more news like this in the coming months as 2NE1 will be releasing a new single every month until October.

2NE1 will be holding their first comeback stage this Thursday, June 11, on Mnet’s “M!Countdown.”
