2NE1’s “Falling in Love” is MTV Iggy’s Best Song of the Summer

2NE1 has ascended to the top position again in MTV Iggy.

Competing with top international stars including Japan’s Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Trinidad’s Bunji Garlin, 2NE1 proved that the world is theirs by having their latest single, “Falling in Love” picked as MTV Iggy’s “Best Song of the Summer.” The now-closed online poll asked, “Which of these should be MTV Iggy’s Song of the Summer?” and an overwhelming proportion of responses were in favor of 2NE1’s “Falling in Love.”

2NE1’s tasteful combination of reggae and hip hop were cited as perfect ingredients for a light, fun-filled summer atmosphere. The music video solidified the success of the single by featuring top domestic actors Lee Soo Hyuk and Hong Jong Hyun.
