"Thorn Flower" Kang Kyung Joon and Jang Shin Young Reportedly Dating
Hot off the heels of recently confirmed celebrity couple, Lee Sang Yeob and Gong Hyun Joo, another pair is reportedly dating!
The new celebrity couple is composed of actors Kang Kyung Joon and Jang Shin Young, currently five months into their relationship, having met through the JTBC drama “Thorn Flower,” which recently wrapped up on August 1 after six months of air time. They costarred in the drama together as the main leads.
Severals sources are stating that Kang Kyung Joon’s agency has confirmed the relationship, stating in various forms, “It is true that the two are in the beginning stages of their relationship. They got closer while filming the drama and started developing romantic feelings for each other.”
Kang Kyung Joon (1983) is a year older than Jang Shin Young. He debuted in 2004 through the MBC sitcom “Nonstop 5,” and was previously on the drama “History of a Salaryman” before “Thorn Flower.” Jang Shin Young debut in 2002 and married in 2006. She divorced three years later and has one son from the marriage. She was most recently in the critically acclaimed drama “The Chaser” before “Thorn Flower.” She is currently appearing in the drama “Empire of Gold.”
