Park Yoochun Denies Dating Rumors with Golfer Ahn Shin Ae

Early in the morning of October 23 KST, SBS E! Entertainment News reported that Park Yoochun, member of the group JYJ, was dating golfer Ahn Shin Ae (four years his junior). It reported that the two have been dating for several months now.

It cited an acquaintance of the two celebrities, going by the initial “A,” who told reporters, “It is true that Park Yoochun and Ahn Shin Ae are dating. Park Yoochun’s considerate personality and Ahn Shin Ae’s straightforward attitude created the foundation of trust that is the basis of their relationship.”

Also according to “A,” the two are spending a lot of time playing golf together, as Ahn Shin Ae is a golfer and Park Yoochun has developed a lot of interest in the sport.

SBS E! Entertainment News also cited another acquaintance, going by the initial “B,” who said that Park Yoochun has been visiting Ahn Shin Ae’s parents’ screen golf club often. “B” also stated that the two have met each other’s parents.

In response to this report, Park Yoochun’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, denied in an official statement that Park Yoochun and Ahn Shin Ae are dating. It stated, “Park Yoochun started developing an interest in golf since the beginning of this year and have seen Ahn Shin Ae while meeting with other friends who enjoy golf. But it is not true that they are dating.” Regarding the claim that the two have met each other’s parents, the C-Jes rep stated, “Because the screen golf club that Park Yoochun frequents with his managers is run by Ahn Shin Ae’s father, he and his managers have met Ahn Shin Ae’s parents.

C-JeS added, “Park Yoochun is working hard on filming his movie and is baffled by this dating rumor.” Park Yoochun is currently filming the movie “Sea Fog,” a production of famed director Bong Joon Ho. 

Ahn Shin Ae is a young golfer who represented South Korea in New Zealand from 2004-2008. She returned to Korea in 2009 and since then has debuted in the KLPGA.
