KBS Bans Ga In's "Fxxk U" and Tae Jin Ah Version of Rain's "La Song"
Broadcast network KBS ruled on February 19 Ga In’s “Fxxk U” and Tae Jin Ah‘s version of Rain‘s “La Song” unfit for broadcast.
Ga In’s “Fxxk U” track was banned due to the use of the curse “fxxk u” in the lyrics. “La Song” was banned due to the use of specific brand names in the lyrics such as “Maserati” and “Ferrari.”
“Fxxk U” was released as part of Ga In’s latest album, “Truth or Dare,” on February 6. This specific “La Song” was released in trot singer Tae Jin Ah’s album “2014 Tae Jin Ah Dear I Like You!” as a remake of singer Rain’s “La Song” released in the album “Rain Effect.”
Along with these two tracks, KBS also banned Yery Band‘s “Wonderland,” Swing’s “I Will Survive 2,” N-ZIN’s “Crazy Woman,” Sasquatch‘s “Paradox,” and Liquid‘s “Garosugil.”
“Wonderland” was banned for lyrics that “irritate the mentality of disabled people,” “I Will Survive” for the use of Japanese expressions, “Crazy Woman” for the use of slang, and “Garosugil” for the use of specific brand names.
