Huh Gak and A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji’s “Break Up to Make Up” Sweeps the Charts

Singers Huh Gak and A Pink member Jung Eun Ji’s newest song “Break Up to Make Up” has been placed first for two consecutive days on eight music charts.

On July 9, Huh Gak expressed his happiness by saying, “I can’t believe we made an all-kill. I’m so happy that I can share this happiness with A Pink’s Eun Ji. Not too long ago, my sons celebrated their 100^th day and I think this is the best 100^th day gift I can ask for.”

Jung Eun Ji also expressed her joy by saying, “There are a lot of popular seniors who made their comebacks recently so I wasn’t expecting this great of a result so thank you for giving us a lot of love.”

On July 8, they released their new song “Break Up to Make Up,” and on Melon, Mnet, Soribada, Bugs, Naver Music and Genie, they have been placed first. Two hours after they released the song, they were placed first on Melon and Bugs and on the same day, they became first on other music charts as well. It has been a year and two months since they’ve been ranked high on the charts with “Short Hair.”

“Break Up to Make Up” expresses the emotions a couple experiences after they’ve broken up and gotten back together.

An event is being held for the couples that are experiencing the same situation as the song. On July 13, couples who send their picture as well as their story on A Cube Entertainment’s official Facebook page will have the chance to become the main characters in the special music video of “Break Up to Make Up.”
