MBLAQ's Mir Reveals Thoughts on Lee Joon and Thunder’s Departure
Following the reports of Lee Joon and Thunder’s departure from MBLAQ after the expiration of their contract with J.Tune Camp, Mir took to the group’s fancafe to express his personal thoughts on the current situation.
On December 16, Mir wrote a message on MBLAQ’s official fancafe entitled “Hello, this is Mir,” which is the same title he used when he wrote a previous post addressing fans’ concerns about the rumors surrounding the group back in October.
In this post, Mir wrote:
“I don’t really know what to say. I feel so apologetic for letting you hear bad news all of a sudden. We were also very taken aback after seeing the reports, as we had been worrying about how to let you all know. I want to apologize for the fact that you had to face the news from an external source.
Because it is a path that they have personally chosen for themselves, I don’t think badly of it, and the reason actually has nothing to do with the absurd rumors of discord among us. For six years, since our trainee days, our hearts were all in the same place. The only difference was in the choices we came to make.
To be honest, I’m just holding onto my cellphone right now, unable to write anything more. The only thing I can think of to say is that I’m so sorry, and once everything gets resolved, I will greet you once again with the members.”
