Sandara Park Reflects on Her First Acting Experience in "Dr. Ian"
On April 8, 2NE1‘s Sandara Park expressed her thoughts on her first acting experience in the drama “Dr. Ian” as it came to a close.
She states, “It was a good experience despite the fact that it was my first time acting. I still have a lot of things I need to improve on but I will work hard and come back more improved in another work,” and says, “There was a lot of pressure playing the main role but the staff and my partner, Kim Young Kwang, were so nice to me that I was able to film in a good atmosphere.”
Along with her thoughts, she also revealed behind-the-scenes stills from the drama – one with her wearing a doll costume and being drenched in sweat, and another one where she is outside in the bitter cold of February – all showing how hard she worked for this drama.
She has received lots of praise for her role in “Dr. Ian,” where she played Lee So Dam, a girl with a unique personality who struggles to mend her broken heart. Her smooth acting skills and her ability to express various feelings well, all topped with her lovely appearance, earned her good points from the viewers.
Meanwhile, “Dr. Ian” was a hot topic among foreign fans as they watched from all over the world in the U.S., China, Thailand, etc. This drama really proved Sandara’s popularity as it broke 500,000 views in just three days after the first episode aired.
