TVXQ’s Yunho Achieves Status Of Special Class Soldier During Military Service

TVXQ member Yunho, who is currently serving his mandatory time in the South Korean military, was recently awarded the status of special class soldier.

On May 10, the South Korean army posted a picture of Yunho holding up his certificate with a senior officer to its Twitter account.

They state, “Private Jung Yunho has achieved a score of 90 or higher in the categories of shooting, strength, mental strength, and combat training. It is truly beautiful to see a soldier try his best to serve his country.”

Yunho started his military service last July at the Gyeonggi-do training camp and is currently serving in the military band. He is due to finish his service in April of 2017.
