Will.I.Am: “2NE1 Is Coming Out Crazy”

We’ve heard for some time already that 2NE1 and Black Eyed Peas’ rapper/producer Will.I.Am are working together for the group’s U.S. debut album. So far, it has only been reported that they’ve finished producing about 10 tracks in total, but no official word has come out from either party.

YG Artists Perform 41 Songs at “YG Family Concert Japan”

On January 7 and 8, YG Entertainment held its “15th Anniversary YG Family Concert” in Osaka, Japan, bringing in a total of 80,000 fans to both concerts. Starring its full YGE artist list, the concert featured 41 total performances by Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en, Gummy, Tablo, Psy, as well as old-school hip hop group, JinuSean.

Trouble Maker’s Goodbye Stage on SBS "Inkigayo"

Trouble Maker activities have concluded after a month of promotions. SBS’s “Inkigayo,” which aired on January 8, would be the final performance for co-ed subunit Trouble Maker. MC’s Goo Hara and Nicole from Kara, along with singer IU announced the special unit Trouble Maker for the last time, the unit then took to the stage.

Dal Shabet 1 Year Anniversary and BTS Pictures of Music Video Set

The girl group Dal Shabet talked about their aspirations now that it has been a year since their debut. Dal Shabet held a press conference where they revealed their music video set on January 6. Dal Shabet stated, “Today is our one year anniversary. It seems like it was only yesterday when we debuted. Fans sent congratulation gifts and it almost made us cry.”

Dynamic Duo Is Steam Rolling Through the New Year

Korean media sources report that Dynamic Duo is going through a second “Golden Age.” After being discharged from their respective military services, the duo has been appearing on different variety shows while working on their album. Their album which was released in November was very successful. On music charts they showed that hip hop is still alive and kicking by competing and doing well against idol groups and singers.

IU’s Japanese Debut: Strong Debut Candidate "Good Day"

IU is currently busy preparing for her Japanese debut in 2012. Currently she is finishing up her promotions for “You & I” and this year one of her main goals is a successful Japanese debut. In the beginning of 2012, representative of Loen Entertainment met up with representatives of EMI Music Japan and made plans regarding the debut album. Although a final decision has not yet been made, it appears that as the Japanese debut song, “Good Day” is the strongest candidate. The time of release will be sometime around March.
