Newcomers B1A4 and Block B to be Featured in New Reality Program

Now there are reports of Block B along with fellow rookie boy group B1A4 are to star in a reality show together. Both groups barely have two months under their belts of being on the music scene since their debuts back in April. Even though they are young B1A4 and Block B have gained much attention, exposure, and of course fans with their debut tracks, B1A4 with “O.K.” and Block B with “Freeze!”. In actuality the fact that this early on they have been offered a reality show shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Kim Hyun Joong Gave Up on Infinity Challenges Rowing Special

One June 12th, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong appeared on MBC’s Entertainment Information program “Section TV Entertainment Communication.” During the interview he talked about his having received the “Infinity Challenge” test for the rowing/crew special. Kim Hyung Joong said, “I gave up in the middle of it. I took a 1km test and that length is hard to even walk but rowing…” “I wonder if Infinity Challenge will succeed?” and he stuck his tongue out.

After School’s Uee to Continue Her Acting Career!

Uee will play the leading female role on KBS 2TV’s weekend drama “Golden Pond” which is the drama that will fill in the time slot for “I Believe in Love.” An unnamed source within KBS told stated on the 14th, “Uee was cast on ‘Golden Pond’ as the leading female role and currently she is mediating final terms with the production team.” Currently “Golden Pond” is going to begin their broadcast in August and is currently casting roles. Baek Il Sup, Jung Woong Lin, and Jeon Mi Sun will appear on the drama.

G.I. Joe: Lee Byung Hun’s Hollywood Status Confirmed

The upcoming Hollywood blockbuster film “G.I. Joe 2” has changed many of its characters after the first film however Lee Byung Hun’s character will actually have more focus. Besides Channing Tatum, Ray Park, and Lee Byung Hun most of the other main characters are being replaced. For the second film the French actress Elodie Young will play the role of a ninja. Paramount pictures made the decision to only keep the actors for the more popular characters Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes because the first film did not meet expectations.

After School’s Nana, Raina, and Uee on Gag Concert!

After School’s Nana, Raina, and Uee made an appearance on KBS2’s “Gag Concert” that was broadcast on June 12th. The show itself is made up of different comedy skits. In one skit called Super Star KBS where the comedians sing and make fun of other singers, one comedian Ahn Il Kwon approached Uee and teased her with a rose while singing horribly. Eventually he gave her the rose but the After School members were definitely enjoying the show.
