Introducing 51 Of The “Produce 101” Season 2 Participants

Leave it to the detectives (fans) of the K-pop world to figure out so much information in such little time!

The 101 participants of “Produce 101” Season 2 made their first appearance and performance on the March 9 episode of Mnet’s “M!Countdown.”

There were many familiar faces, including current and former idols, participants from other survival programs, guests on other variety shows, actors from web dramas, and many more.

While the producers of the show have stated that they will be revealing all the members in the days to come, many have figured out the names of numerous competitors ahead of the show’s premiere date on April 7.

Here are 51 of the known participants on “Produce 101” Season 2 (at the time this article was written), who were spotted either during the performance or later outside the building following their performance.

He’s a former JYP Entertainment trainee born in 2001, and is currently under Brand New Music. Before the show even began, he made headlines as the “Jeon Somi” of Season 2, and was chosen to be the “center” of all 101 participants.

SEVENTEEN fans may recognize him as a previous potential member of the group. He also promoted with rapper One in duo 1PUNCH, before they disbanded.
He was born on January 17, 2002, and is under Brave Entertainment.

12. Yoon Yong Bin
He was a former SM Entertainment trainee hopeful who was in the running to become a member of EXO, but rejected the position and left the agency to focus on his studies. He revealed this information when he appeared on the August 4, 2016 episode of “I Can See Your Voice.”
He was born on November 27, 1995, and is currently under Banana Culture Entertainment.

13. Lee Eui Woong
He appeared on the March 21, 2016 broadcast of “Hello Counselor” with a concern of his own. He was noted for his good looks, kind personality, and filial piety. At the time, he said he was an aspiring actor, but has since reportedly changed to wanting to be an idol.
He was born in 2000, and is under Jellyfish Entertainment.

He is known to be friends with BTS’s V, and has been receiving attention for his unforgettable long hair.
