HyunA Reveals Hip Hop Look

Finally tonight 4minute’s HyunA will have her first performance of the song “Just Follow” via Mnet’s “M Countdown.” Her picture was revealed through M Countdown’s twitter, “Getting rid of a sporty look, she is now luxurious! First time revealed!” HyunA is posing with Block B’s Zico. “Just Follow” is a song with powerful hip hop beats that is mixed with strong melody lines which include rapping. The rapper Dok2 helped produce the song and also features on it.

Block-B’s sensational rapper, Zico, will be on stage with HyunA for tonight’s Mnet “M! Countdown!” The leader of Block-B revealed through his Twitter account on August 10th, “I’m going on stage tomorrow on ‘M! Countdown!’ for ‘Just Follow,’ HyunA’s next single produced by Dok2 hyung! Please watch it live! Of course, the lyrics will be Zico’s version!”

INFINITE Members Pick f(x)’s Krystal over HyunA

Five of the Seven INFINITE members picked f(x)’s Krystal over 4minute’s HyunA. Appearing on Tuesday’s show of SBS radio “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time,” INFINITE was asked, “Who would you pick between f(x)’s Krystal and 4minute’s HyunA?” and more than half of the group chose Krystal.

4minute’s HyunA is now focusing on the activities for her next song, “Just Follow.” On August 10th her agency Cube Entertainment stated that Hyuna will have her first performance of “Just Follow” on Mnet’s “M Countdown” for August 11th. “Just Follow” is a song that has a strong hip hop beat that is mixed with strong melody lines which include rapping. One of the most controversial issues from last week was the Korea Broadcasting and Communications Review Committee (KCC) ruling HyunA’s “Bubble Pop” dance “too sexually suggestive.” Following the ruling, HyunA abruptly ended her “Bubble Pop” promotions, calling it “nonsense” to go on stage with a new dance sequence after nearly a month of promoting the song. The entire controversy has sparked heated debate among netizens over what exactly means “too sexually suggestive” and why more and more girl groups tend to take the “sexy” route even under such heavy scrutiny from the KCC and local broadcasters.

HyunA’s “Bubble Pop” Promotions Come to Unexpected End

Promotions for HyunA’s popular solo track, “Bubble Pop,” has come to a rather abrupt end today after recent warnings from the Korea Broadcasting and Communications Review Committee (KCC) that the choreography were “too sexually suggestive.”
