Park Sool Nyeo, the designer of historical hanbok as featured in dramas such as "Chuno," held a fashion show and environmental campaign at the Hyatt Hotel in Seoul on August 16. The runway models included Kara, ZE:A, Rainbow, Jewelry, Eru, Jung Bo Suk, Park Ji Yoon, Kim Soo Mi, Park Jung Soo, Park Joon Geum, Park Hae Mi, Geum Bo Ra, Sunwoo Yong Nyeo, Bang Eun Hee, Maya, Joo Young Hoon, and Lee Yoon Mi, Mason Moon, and Park Gwang Hyun. ZE:A and Insooni performed at the event. The campaign encouraged people to protect the environment by abstaining from using disposable products. To this end, all participants were given a handkerchief to use instead of Kleenex.

Rainbow Releases Teasers for Japanese Debut
Rainbow has now officially teased their debut into the Japanese music scene! Through their Japanese site, Universal site, Korean DSP Media homepage, and Youtube DSP channel they revealed teaser pictures of their album jacket and also a teaser clip for the Japanese version of “A.” The Japanese album that is being released will feature the Japanese version of “A” and also a special DVD, photo album, and bonus tracks. Each of these features is a version of the album being released, so there are three versions of the Japanese album being released in total.

Where Does Rainbow’s Jae Kyung Go for a Vacation? The answer seems to be the “mart.” (Market) On August 9th Jae Kyung wrote on her twitter, “KYA! It’s a vacation! What should I do?” She posted pictures of herself. Then soon afterwards she wrote, “As a vacation spot, a cool mart is the best.” She then posted pictures of herself dragging around a shopping cart in the mart. She wrote different captions for each picture such as, “So hot. I want to go into the ice-cream cooler,” “mom, buy this for me please?” “For this summer do you want to Took?!”
Let’s Go Dream Team: Female Ice Sliding Controversy
On August 7th, the show “Let’s Go Dream Team Season 2” was the foci of controversy because of their summer “Dream Girls” special. Viewers of the show complained about the bikini-like clothes that the female celebrities were wearing and also the angle of the camera that seemed to focus on certain body parts. Many female celebrities appeared on this special and Rainbow’s Jae Kyung and Cho Hyun Young, SISTAR’s Dasom, and Dal Shabet’s Viki participated in the “Ice Sliding Game.”
MBC to Air Special Concert in Support of Jeju Island’s Bid for “New Seven Wonders”
MBC will air a special concert program titled “D-100 Concert-Love Jeju Island” on August 2nd. Featuring a star-studded lineup of MBLAQ, Secret, Wheesung, Maya, and Rainbow, the show will last for about 75 minutes from 7PM on Tuesday, which would be the 100 day point till the final selection date for the “World’s New Seven Wonders.”
Rainbow’s Jaekyung Riding the Subway
Today on July 27th in Seoul heavy raining flooded roads and subway stations. Rainbow’s Jaekyung posted a picture of herself to help forget about the heavy rain. On the same day, Jaekyung wrote on her twitter, “It is raining so much. All of us are also taking the subway on our way to work, watching people go to work despite the harsh weather and trying to work hard makes me think that I need to strive harder.”

Rainbow’s Ji Sook Fits in PJs for a 9 Year Old
Rainbow’s Jae Kyung admired fellow member Ji Sook’s fashion sense. On July 18th Jae Kyung wrote on her twitter, “My mother was out shopping when she saw pajamas for a 9 year old. She bought them for me, and I am 24. The pajamas could not handle my ribs therefore instead the skinny one out of Rainbow, Ji Sook, has worn it instead.” She continued, “Today, Ji Sook who is currently 22 years old is now wearing pajamas for a 9 year old and it fits her perfectly, she has immense fashion sense.” In her tweet she attached the picture of Ji Sook in pajamas.
Ji Sook is seen wearing pajamas and also sunglasses, she is clearly excited and very cute. Also, the pajamas seem to fit her very well.
