Blind Alley

There are some very unique-themed cafes in Seoul. They have dog and cat cafes galore, but one concept that many of us are foreign to is a raccoon cafe. And yes, they have actual real raccoons.

You pay a small entrance fee and can purchase beverages. You’re not allowed to touch the raccoons, but it definitely makes for a cool experience and even cooler Instagram photos.

This cafe is surrounded by beautiful greenery and the interior is very traditional.

Any dessert you get is worth taking photos of as they present it in such a pretty way. The furniture and traditional snacks and teas provide such a beautiful contrast.

dal.komm

One of the coolest things about going to cafes in Korea is looking for places where various K-dramas have been filmed. One of the major hot spots is a cafe called dal.komm, which is where a scene from the popular drama, “Descendants of the Sun” was filmed. It’s a popular cafe chain in Korea and this one in particular garnered a lot of tourists as a result of the K-drama.

Remember this scene?

The desserts, the decor, and even the cups that the beverages are served in are all poo themed. It’s kind of a weird concept, I admit, but it does make for a cool story to tell your friends and an even funnier post on social media!
