Blind Alley

There are some very unique-themed cafes in Seoul. They have dog and cat cafes galore, but one concept that many of us are foreign to is a raccoon cafe. And yes, they have actual real raccoons.

You pay a small entrance fee and can purchase beverages. You’re not allowed to touch the raccoons, but it definitely makes for a cool experience and even cooler Instagram photos.

dal.komm

One of the coolest things about going to cafes in Korea is looking for places where various K-dramas have been filmed. One of the major hot spots is a cafe called dal.komm, which is where a scene from the popular drama, “Descendants of the Sun” was filmed. It’s a popular cafe chain in Korea and this one in particular garnered a lot of tourists as a result of the K-drama.

Remember this scene?

The desserts, the decor, and even the cups that the beverages are served in are all poo themed. It’s kind of a weird concept, I admit, but it does make for a cool story to tell your friends and an even funnier post on social media!
