Kim Jong Kook Shares Funny Response To Han Ye Seul Picking Him Among "My Ugly Duckling" Cast

On March 13, Kim Jong Kook, Lee Yi Kyung, Yoo Se Yoon, and Shorry appeared as guests on MBC’s “Radio Star.”

During the show, the hosts mentioned that actress Han Ye Seul had picked Kim Jong Kook as the most attractive member of the cast during her guest appearance on “My Ugly Duckling.”

However, Kim Jong Kook responded wittily, “There weren’t a lot of options. That’s why it would be weird to read too much into her choice.”

Kim Jong Kook’s close friend, Cha Tae Hyun, said, “Since it wasn’t you that brought up the subject and since she picked you first, you should at least have a meal with her.”

Kim Jong Kook commented, “I’ve seen her several times at the gym and I’ve run into her in the United States as well. Because we’ve seen each other a couple times here and there, that’s probably why she picked me. I sent word to her that I was happy that a younger acquaintance of mine looked so favorably upon me.”

However, Cha Tae Hyun didn’t let up and joked, “If you’re going to send word to her, you need to see her again.”
