Lee Mi Sook Attends Questioning About Late Jang Ja Yeon's Case

Lee Mi Sook voluntarily attended questioning at the Prosecutor’s Office about the late Jang Ja Yeon’s sexual assault case.

Lee Mi Sook, along with Yoon Ji Oh and Song Sun Mi, was part of the same agency as the late actress at the time of the incident. Yoon Ji Oh, who witnessed Jang Ja Yeon being sexually assaulted, called on her senior actress Lee Mi Sook to speak up as a witness several times recently.

A report from last month suggested that Lee Mi Sook was directly involved in the death of Jang Ja Yeon, and Lee Mi Sook responded that she was willing to undergo any additional questioning if necessary.

On April 4, Lee Mi Sook’s agency Sidus HQ released an official statement about the actress undergoing questioning. Below is the full statement:

On April 3, Lee Mi Sook voluntarily went to the the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutor’s Office and faithfully participated in the questioning.

Lee Mi Sook is hoping that the late actress Jang Ja Yeon’s reinvestigation will progress smoothly so that her reputation can be recovered. She is looking forward to seeing the truth being clearly revealed, especially since the suspicions surrounding the case have lasted over 10 years.
