Watch: Super Junior, Red Velvet, iKON, And EXID Return To “Stage K” For Grand Final In Exciting Preview
For the grand final of the K-pop dance cover competition, the winning teams from each episode will be returning to compete for the title of “King of Kings.” In a newly released preview for the show’s upcoming episode, the eight winning teams—who hail from various countries all over the world—arrive in Korea to face off against one another.
When asked whether they think they’ll lose to the other teams, the Japanese team who won EXO’s episode confidently replies, “No,” and the U.S. team who won iKON’s episode declares, “I think we’re going to win.” A member of the Belgian team who won BLACKPINK’s episode shows off her Korean skills as she playfully warns the other teams, “Watch out.”
The preview then goes on to show some of the featured artists enthusiastically rooting for their respective teams. iKON’s Donghyuk remarks, “We believe in our team, so we feel confident,” and Red Velvet’s Seulgi says proudly, “You’ll know once you see [them perform].” Super Junior’s Shindong comments, “I’m sorry, but I think that we’re definitely going to win in terms of excitement.”
As the eight teams go head-to-head in a fierce battle for the throne, the celebrity judges are unable to hide their awe at the contestants’ dancing skills. After being impressed by more than one team, SECHSKIES’s Eun Ji Won declares, “I’m going to abstain from voting.”
The grand final of “Stage K” will air on June 16 at 9 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the preview below!
