Gong Yoo And Jung Yu Mi's Film "Kim Ji Young, Born 1982" Announces Release Date

The highly-anticipated film “Kim Ji Young, Born 1982” has set its release date!

Based on a best-selling novel that sold over a million copies in Korea, the upcoming film will tell the story of a woman in her thirties named Kim Ji Young and her life experiences as a daughter, wife, mother, and co-worker.

On October 11, the film officially confirmed that it would be premiering on October 23.

“Kim Ji Young, Born 1982” stars Jung Yu Mi as lead Kim Ji Young and Gong Yoo as her husband Jung Dae Hyun. Together, the two will tell the story of a woman who discovers new aspects of herself as she goes about her ordinary life.

Other members of the cast include Kim Mi Kyung, Gong Min Jung, Kim Sung Cheol, and Lee Eol, who will portray members of Kim Ji Young’s family.
