BTS's "Blood Sweat & Tears" Becomes Group's 9th Single To Achieve Silver Certification In The UK

BTS’s “Blood Sweat & Tears” is now certified silver in the United Kingdom!

On March 4 local time, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) revealed that BTS’s “Blood Sweat & Tears” had been certified silver. According to the BPI’s standards, singles are certified silver at 200,000 units sold.

“Blood Sweat & Tears” is BTS’s ninth single to achieve this feat. Most recently, “IDOL” was certified silver in December 2021, after “My Universe” (with Coldplay), “Butter,” “Fake Love,” “DNA,” “MIC Drop,” “Dynamite,” and “Boy With Luv” (with Halsey). “Blood Sweat & Tears” was released in October 2016 as the title track of BTS’s second full album “WINGS.”

After their “Permission to Dance On Stage” concert in Los Angeles late last year, BTS are currently gearing up for more in-person concerts, starting with Seoul later this month and Las Vegas in April. In early April, BTS is also expected to attend the rescheduled 64th Grammy Awards where they are nominated for 2022 Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with “Butter.”
