May Movie Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for film actors.
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular movie stars, using big data collected from April 28 to May 28.
Kang Soo Yeon, who unexpectedly passed away earlier this month at the age of 55, topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 13,847,666. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “nation’s actress,” “world star,” and “Im Kwon Taek,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “pass away,” “condolences,” and “commemorate.”
Ma Dong Seok took second place with a brand reputation index of 10,524,326, while Kim Hye Soo came in at a close third with a total index of 10,478,151.
Son Suk Ku rose to fourth place for May with a brand reputation index of 9,635,599, and Lee Byung Hun rounded out the top five with a total sscore of 9,380,105.
