SBS Extends Warrior Baek Dong Soo by Six Episodes

On September 6, SBS came to an agreement with the drama production company and have officially declared that Warrior Baek Dong Soo will be extended by 6 more episodes. A representative of SBS stated, “Warrior Baek Dong Soo is bringing in a new wave of SBS historical dramas. The show is being loved and we have long considered extending it, the extension of the show will be natural.”

Following today’s shocking announcement of Nichkhun and Victoria’s departure from MBC “We Got Married,” the 2PM member tweeted his feelings about leaving his make-believe wife and the highly popular reality show. “Some are relieved, some are sad, some are furious, and some are just thankful for the good laughter and smiles every Saturday evening. We all knew all along that at some point this was going to end, but the good memories and friendship will never die. I am but thankful for all the support we’ve received for over a year and 3 months. We only hope that what will last are the good memories. Thank you always for all your love and support,” Nichkhun wrote on his Twitter page.

SBS’s weekend drama "Scent of a Woman" is to be exported to eight different countries around Asia. On Sept. 5, SBS stated that "As drama ‘Scent of a Woman’ started to air, it gained huge popularity nationally and inquiries from international distributors began to flood in." Currently at the peak of its popularity, the drama was successful in being able to export to 8 different countries – Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

SBS’s popular drama "Protect The Boss" will release their OST CD on the 8th. The OST CD will contain eight songs and eight instrumentals, totaling 16 tracks in total.The OST is so popular that 30,000 pre-orders of the CD were already sent to SBS Contents Hub who said, "We currently have 30,000 pre-orders so our first tasks is to make sure these domestic pre-orders are fulfilled."

MBLAQ’s New Japanese Single to be Opening Theme For Anime "Beelzebub"

MBLAQ’s new Japanese single has been chosen to be the opening theme song for Japanese anime "Beelzebub." Although the song has yet to be released, the song will start to air on the show from October. This being the first time MBLAQ has been chosen to sing an opening theme for a show the members stated, "We all love Japanese anime, so it’s a great honor to be selected for the opening theme. We are very happy."

Brown Eyed Girls Participate in Charity Work for Chuseok

Despite being busy preparing for their comeback, the Brown Eyed Girls set aside special time for an upcoming KBS Chuseok special called "Brown Eyed Girls’ Pit-a-Pat" where they invite six Chinese children to Korea to undergo the necessary surgery.

The children grew up in poverty stricken households that can’t afford the treatment that they need. Shocked by the situation and wanting to lend a hand, the Brown Eyed Girls showed up with arms full of presents on the day of their surgery as well as supplies to aid the children on their recovery.

“High Kick 3” Production Team: “Don’t Expect Much!”

"The atmosphere is so good that we are actually very nervous about it.” During a recent interview on the set of “High Kick 3,” the creators, producers, writers, and staff were all on a mission to lower the expectations of audiences for the highly anticipated sitcom. “The expectations are especially high this time,” one of the producers exclaimed. “When we were starting ‘Unstoppable High Kick,’ nobody really paid attention, and when we were doing ‘High Kick Through the Roof’ two years later, it wasn’t this big…I think a lot of fans were satisfied with the last ending and are giving us a lot of attention. The atmosphere is so good that we are actually very nervous about it.”
