Private Kim Tae Pyung (Hyun Bin) has been selected to be the emcee of the 22nd Marine Corps Band Concert, to be held on Sept 30 at the Yeouido KBS Hall. This will be Hyun Bin’s debut attempt as an emcee, while serving his military duty in the Marines. The Marine Corps Band Concert is a public event held annually by the Marine Corps. While displaying the discipline expected of the ROK military, it also aims to capture the hearts of the people with their music. The concert will be carried out in a similar way to KBS’s “Open Concert,” thus even if the emcee does not speak much, he has an important role to play throughout the two-hour concert.
