KARA Awarded Gold Record in Japan

On October 19, KARA released their fifth Japanese single entitled, “Winter Magic”. Since its release it has been certified as a “Gold Album or Foreign Music” according to the Japanese Record Association. It is quite an accomplishment to reach Gold status. Albums which sell more than one hundred thousand units are awarded the Gold grade.

CN Blue’s "In My Head" Recognized as a Gold Record in Japan

Male group CN Blue’s major Japanese debut single "In My Head" was recognized as a Gold Record from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). In order to receive a Gold Record certification from the RIAJ, album sales must exceed 100,000 copies.
