Super Junior’s fifth album “Mr. Simple” has surpassed 100,000 copies sold after only two weeks since it went on sale. This information on the sales of the “Mr. Simple” record puts Super Junior at the forefront of chart-toppers in the second half of the year and thus far makes them the second-highest recorded for 2011.

ChoColat Releases Digital Single "Syndrome"
ChoColat is selling their first digital single “Syndrome” on August 17th. They will portray a charm that is both powerful and cute. The members are Min So Ah (23), Jae Yoon (21), Julian (19), Tia (15), and Melany (15). The song “Syndrome” is written by DWB (Paul Drew, Greig Watts, Pete Barringer) who have worked with DBSK, SS501, Kylie Minogue, and Kate Ryan.
Stellar Makes Debut with a Teaser of "Rocket Girl"
Four-member girl group produced by Shinhwa’s Eric has finally made an appearance! The teaser for "Rocket Girl" feature parts of the music video, and also introduces all four members of Stellar. Eric is also seen in the teaser as he will lend his rapping skills in the debut track.
Super Junior Appears on Cover of Ceci Magazine
Super Junior appears on both the Korean and Chinese covers of the September issue of Ceci magazine. There will also be a "special cover" released soon (no word on when or what it is). For this photoshoot, the boys transformed into detectives, prosecutors, and actors from a thriller movie. During the interview, they discussed their fifth album, how it feels to be leaders in hallyu, and what it’s like to do overseas promotions. They also answered questions sent by fans to Ceci’s Twitter account. Looking good!
SM Entertainment Establishes Joint Overseas Branch in Thailand
SM Entertainment announced today that it has established its first joint overseas branch in Thailand. SM, regarded by many as Korea’s top entertainment firm, has joined with Thailand’s largest media network, True Visions Group, to form SM True (officially known as SM True Co., Ltd). Yesterday the new group held a signing ceremony and press conference to announce the collaboration in Bangkok. It was attended by SHINee, Kangta, and SM CEO Kim Young Min.

Jay Park Goes Blond in High Cut
Jay Park shows off his tattoos and newly blond hair in the latest issue of High Cut magazine. Unlike a lot of other K-Pop idols who go blond every other day, Park had never had any experience with bleach until yesterday. Apparently it had been part of the image concept for his new music video, but since his album release got delayed (due to his busy schedule with "Immortal Song 2"), he decided to get his hair done the other day.

Chocolat Releases Debut MV "Syndrome"
Their debut single, "Syndrome" will be released on August 17, followed by their first live performance on Mnet’s “M! Countdown!” on August 18th. “The debut track is a mixture of dance and electronics, which incorporates powerful choreography,” their agency, Paramount Music, said.
