Kara will be the first girl group in Korea to release figure models of themselves. At the end of March, 12 inch figurines of Kara in their "Mister" attire will be released in both Korea and Japan.

Kara has come out with yet another Japanese commercial! This time, it’s for C3 vitamin eye drops made by the pharmaceutical company Rohto. The commercial premired on the Japanese morning talk show "Mezamashi TV." During the shooting, the members had to tackle a difficult scene. In that scene, the members step aside as an elevated camera…and cameraman, pass between them.

Singer Ayumi is gaining attention for her resemblance with KARA’s Goo Hara. Ayumi revealed a selca picture on her Twitter with the caption: “ICONIQ. Coming out. I am waiting for the women’s gathering” On March 13. In the selca picture that accompanied the tweet, Ayumi’s facial transformation greatly resembles Goo Hara’s sexy yet sweet beauty. Kara’s Old Comments Infuriate Netizens, Again?
Old comments that Kara made on dating in Korea have caused controversy, again. On an online community board, a post appeared with the title “Kara’s Problematic Statements.” The post showed scenes of a Kara appearance on a Japanese variety show. The captured scenes show Seung Yeon stating “In Korea, the man usually pays everything on a date.” Kang Ji Young stated, “They pay for food and also hold your bag for you.”

Kara "Best Clip 2 and Show" DVD #1 on Oricon Chart
Kara’s “Best Clip 2 and Show” has maintained #1 for five days on the Japanese Oricon DVD chart. The DVD “Best Clip 2 and Show” was released on February 29 and has been #1 on the DVD Overall chart. “Kara Best Clip” which was released on February 23, 2011 also went up to #1 on the Oricon Weekly DVD Chart. It was the first time that an overseas female singer had appeared on the DVD chart after it was created in 1999. “Kara Best Clip” was #1 for two weeks for the weekly chart and #1 for 7 days on the daily chart. The DVD sold 250,000 copies and became platinum.
