Kara Travels to Japan with Eye-Catching Airport Fashion

Kara passed through Gimpo Airport on August 19 en route to Japan. No word on why they’re headed there, but the girl group had held a fan meeting on August 6 at Yokohama Arena to celebrate their Japanese comeback this year. It was attended by some 12,000 fans.

Kara, ZE:A, Rainbow, Jewelry, and Mason Moon Wear Hanbok for Fashion Show

Park Sool Nyeo, the designer of historical hanbok as featured in dramas such as "Chuno," held a fashion show and environmental campaign at the Hyatt Hotel in Seoul on August 16. The runway models included Kara, ZE:A, Rainbow, Jewelry, Eru, Jung Bo Suk, Park Ji Yoon, Kim Soo Mi, Park Jung Soo, Park Joon Geum, Park Hae Mi, Geum Bo Ra, Sunwoo Yong Nyeo, Bang Eun Hee, Maya, Joo Young Hoon, and Lee Yoon Mi, Mason Moon, and Park Gwang Hyun. ZE:A and Insooni performed at the event. The campaign encouraged people to protect the environment by abstaining from using disposable products. To this end, all participants were given a handkerchief to use instead of Kleenex.

Incheon Korean Music Wave Concert Held for 40,000 Fans

Basically, almost every single K-Pop idol in existence performed last night at the Incheon Korean Music Wave 2011 Concert! This large-scale concert, which was attended by some 40,000 fans, was held on August 13 at the Incheon Munhak Olympic Stadium. The epic lineup included Super Junior, 2PM, SNSD, 2NE1, BEAST, Kara, SHINee, 2AM, f(x), miss A, T-ara, MBLAQ, CN Blue, FT Island, SG Wannabe, Secret, 4minute, SISTAR and Son Dambi. The concert is geared toward promoting the city of Incheon to international tourists.
