“Bring YG to the UK” Flash Mob Scheduled for July 9th

Fans in the U.K are organizing a flash mob event to bring YG Entertainment to London. On Facebook, there is a public event page titled “Bring YG to the UK” with almost 600 users confirming their attendance (200 maybe attending). The flash mob is scheduled to take place on July 9th from 3:00PM at Trafalgar Square in central London.

Enjoy Performances From the K-Pop Wave Concert in Thailand Courtesy of Arirang TV

On April 21st, the K-Pop Wave Concert took place in Thailand which brought Korean idols, their fans, and a lot of excitement. Korea’s Arirang TV paired up with Thailand’s radio station, PD Creation to bring music from Korea to music fans in Thailand. Not only that but all proceeds from the concert went to benefit the earthquake relief effort in Japan. K-Pop artists’ who were in attendance: 2PM, Son Hoyoung, Kim Tae Woo, Infinite, Kim Hyung Joon, U-Kiss, and Park Jungmin. An additional concert was held on a later date on April 29th where TVXQ, Se7en, F. Cuz, MBLAQ, Teen Top, and the Boss performed. Even though it has been a few months since the big event, Arirang TV has produced some interview and performance clips from the day.

K-Pop Taking Over the World? Not According to CNN

CNNGo, which is CNN’s lifestyle website covering trends throughout Asia, recently published an article titled "K-Pop taking over the world? Don’t make me laugh". The author, Esther Oh, proceeded to explain why the notion of Korean pop expanding overseas is completely overblown.

Rain and Se7en Exchange Amusing Tweets

Rain and Se7en had an amusing conversation over Twitter last night. Rain first asked on his Twitter page, “What’s the best type of dog to raise indoors?” Moments later, Se7en responded with a picture he put together of Rain and a puppy that looks like a breed of dachshund.
