Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun Beats miss A’s Suzy for “Youngest Mascot” Girl Group Member Honor

According to a recent poll conducted on DC Inside, a Korean online community board, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun received a whopping 55% of the votes to earn the top “youngest mascot” member of all girl groups.

Did you ever wonder who were the tallest and shortest members of Girls’ Generation? Well, recently a photo that gives a clue to that question was posted online. In the photo titled, “Girls’ Generation Height Order,” all nine members of the Girls’ Generation are seen lined up in order of height. The photo, taken during the filming of a bank advertisement, shows Sunny, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Jessica, and Tiffany, form the shorter member group, followed by Yuri, Seohyun, Sooyoung, and YoonA in the taller member group.

The Girls’ Generation youngest member Seohyun revealed that the older Girls’ Generation members forced her to drink bombs! (Bombs are drinks where you mix beer with hard liquor such as soju, whiskey, vodka, or sake.) For the episode of “Strong Heart” that was broadcast on March 6 Seohyun stated, “After the Japanese tour we had a drinking party with the members. The Girls’ Generation members used a big cup to make bombs.”

Lee Hwan Hee is known as Girls’ Generation Seohyun’s best friend during their SM Entertainment trainee days. Although Lee Hwan Hee was a trainee with Seohyun and Yuri, when it was time for the showcase that picked out the final Girls’ Generation members, she was not picked. On a September episode of KBS2 “Big Brothers” where Seohyun made an appearance, she talked about Lee Hwan Hee. The two had dreams of debuting as Girls’ Generation and trained for 5 years together.
