JYJ’s Yoochun recently treated new sneakers to the people he works with. On March 13, fellow JYJ member Junsu tweeted, “We went to an Adidas store. During a press conference held in Chile on March 8, JYJ opened up about the recording of them verbally abusing fans in 2009. The JYJ members read their prepared statements with grim faces. (As we reported earlier: An online board uploaded an audio file of JYJ’s Jaejoong and Yoochun verbally and physically abusing fans. In the audio file, Jaejoong can be heard swearing at “Sasaeng Fans.” Sasaeng fans are extreme fans that engage in behaviors that are dangerously close to being stalkers.)

Recently, a video of JYJ’s Yoochun getting slapped by a sasaeng fan was uploaded to various online communities, garnering interest. In the video, Yoochun was trying to get past a horde of fans outside his hair salon, when one sasaeng fan slapped him on the face. Yoochun delicately touches the part of his cheek that was slapped and glares at the fan before moving on. Other fans in the area also seemed surprise at the sasaeng fan’s unexpected assault.
