Lee Ha Yi Defeats Park Ji Min for This Week’s SBS "K-Pop Star" Broadcast

For the March 11 live broadcast of SBS “K-Pop Star” the two rivals Park Ji Min and Lee Ha Yi were at it once again! The mission for this week’s live performances was to perform a classic song by a singer that sold more than a million records. Park Ji Min chose to sing “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston. Another contestant Michelle Lee who was a member of “Su Pearls” with Park Ji Min also sang a Whitney Houston song, “Run to You.” Park Ji Min received the second highest score, 272 for her performance.

NU’EST Reveals Teaser for Member JR

Pledis Entertainment continues to string up excitement for their new boy band NU’EST. This time we have a teaser video revealing member JR. JR is the leader of the upcoming five-member idol group. Other members Min Hyun, Baekho, and Ren have released their teasers earlier this week. We can anticipate the remaining teaser for member Aron to be unveiled shortly as well.

Balladeer idol 2AM has finally made their comeback with the release of their new music video, "I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me." The sorrowful ballad is the title track of their new mini-album "F.Scott Fitzgerald’s Way Of Love" which was released today, March 12, in Korea.

Just yesterday night, the FT Island and CN Blue held their first ever joint concert at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Soompi had the chance to interview CN Blue on their impression of America, international fame, the upcoming third album, and their newly-found love for American food (yes, steak and In-N-Out!). While the boys were professional and polished, they occasionally cracked up at each others’ comments and Yonghwa’s confident English skills.

Kim Soo Hyun, Korea’s "CF King"

Handsome heartthrob Kim Soo Hyun, who was catapulted into fame following his lead role on MBC’s hit historical drama "The Moon that Embraces the Sun", has earned the nickname of the "CF King." According to his agency Key East Entertainment on March 10, Kim Soo Hyun is currently signed into ten contracts with various companies for endorsements. Add in the three he recently endorsed, along with two others that he will sign with soon, and we have a total of 15 advertisements. (That’s a good, round sum of $5 million USD!)
