BIGBANG was named the K-Chart winner for the second consecutive week on the March 16 episode of KBS “Music Bank.” Although they were not in attendance, BIGBANG defeated Ailee’s “Heaven” for the top spot of this week’s show, hosted by Lee Jang Woo and After School’s Uee.
Shinhwa Announces New Album Release Date
Shinhwa will release their 10th album on March 23, making their first comeback in four years official. All members of the group played a critical role in producing the album, as they all took part in writing the lyrics, producing songs, or directing the album. Their title track, “Venus,” contains lyrics written by Lee Min Woo, while the song itself is produced by Andrew Jackson, whose previous works include songs with Britney Spears and Leona Lewis.
T-ara’s Agency May Change Members to Make 9 Member Group
As reported earlier this week, T-ara will undergo major changes to their overall structure by next month. On March 15, Kim Kwang Soo, the head of T-ara’s agency, Core Contents Media, gave a more specific answer regarding the group’s future.
CN Blue Names Third Mini Album “Ear Fun”
Last week, CN Blue launched a contest asking its fans to guess the name of their upcoming third mini album. The first five participants to get the correct title were to win a chance to take photos with the boys and receive their autographs. But the contest that was supposed to run until March 21 came to an abrupt end yesterday, as CN Blue announced on its official Facebook page that it would be “closed earlier than our plan.”
