2AM’s Jinwoon to Release a Follow-up Solo Single

2AM’s youngest member, Jinwoon, who had successfully debuted solo as a rock artist in early August will be releasing a follow-up single within the month. Jinwoon’s official website has put up an announcement of the title of his upcoming track, along with a schedule for the release of the teaser. According to the announcement, the first glimpse of “If It’s Not Now” will be revealed on November 3.

Japanese Release of "Heartstrings" OST to Feature Jung Yong Hwa’s "Comfort Song" as Bonus Track

Apart from Jung Yong Hwa’s “Comfort Song,” the Japanese release of the “Heartstrings” soundtrack will contain all 20 tracks from the original two-part Korean release, featuring songs sung by Jung Yong Hwa, Park Shin Hye, Kang Min Hyuk, M Signal and FT Island, among others. The Japanese version will also include a bilingual booklet.

Tablo’s “Fever’s End Part 2” Debuts at #5 on iTunes

Tablo’s new album “Fever’s End-Part 2” debuted at #5 on the iTunes Hip Hop/Rap charts shortly after its release on November 1. The album contains the instant hit single, “Tomorrow” featuring Big Bang’s Taeyang, as well as “The Source” featuring Epik High member DJ Tukutz, “Dear TV,” “Thankful Breath,” and “Expiration Date.”

SM Entertainment Artists to Appear on MAMA

SM Entertainment and Mnet were engaged in a cold war. SM had accused Mnet and Mnet Media of having illegally using their content. Because this was a breach of contract, SM Entertainment did not allow Mnet to feature their songs. However, many in the music industry pointed at different reasons for their “cold war.” SM Entertainment had issue with Mnet “M Countdown” and its rating system. Afterwards, SM Entertainment stated that its singers would not appear on the Mnet Asian Music Awards. Then, Mnet invited JYJ to their Mnet Asian Music Awards when JYJ had contractual problems with SM Entertainment.

Old School Rap Duo Jinusean to Perform at YG Family Concert

Old school rap duo Jinusean will get together for the first time in nearly four years for a special stage at the “15th Anniversary: YG Family Concert.” YG Entertainment said in a statement that Jinusean will give a special performance at the concert scheduled for December. Jinusean, the first hip hop group to debut under YGE, was one of the most popular rap groups in the 90’s and early 2000’s with hit singles such as “Gasoline,” “Tell Me,” and “A-Yo!” But they stopped all group activities after the “YG One Concert” in 2007 and have been focusing on individual careers since then.
