Kim Hyun Joong’s “Break Down” Takes Over Asian Music Charts

Kim Hyun Joong’s first solo album, “Break Down,” has been a massive hit in the entire Asian region so far as it has taken over various music charts in multiple Asian countries since its release last month. The main track with the same title, “Break Down,” first topped Japan’s Oricon Foreign Album Sales Chart on June 8th, followed by consecutive #1s on Taiwan’s G-Music and Five Music’s Korea-Japan Music Charts. It also took over KKBOX, Hong Kong’s largest online music chart, in the Korean-Japanese pop category, with not just the title track “Break Down,” but also “Please” and “Kiss Kiss.” In Thailand, “Break Down” ranked #2 on the Channel V Asia Music Chart, while also being named the “Best Asian Pop Song of the Month” in July.

Pan-Asian Girl Group Blush Debuts With Hit Single "Undivided"

Blush consists of five talented ladies: Ji Hae from Korea, Natsuko from Japan, Victoria from Hong Kong, Angeli from the Philippines, and Alisha from India. Ji Hae participated on "Superstar K" and landed in the top 30, despite not having any formal vocal or dance training. Check out their animated video for "Undivided."
