Upcoming Drama "Protect the Boss" Surprisingly Good

“Protect the Boss” will be filling in the time slot for SBS and will have its first episode on August 3rd. The previous one had been the highly popular “City Hunter.” Jisung and Choi Kang Hee are the main characters of “Protect the Boss” but it had not created a lot of buzz. However, after a press conference where a clip of the show was shown, the reception is beginning to change.

The Two Sides of Uee’s Acting: Luxurious and Rural

Uee is appearing on two different dramas in the same time period and she is gaining a lot of attention because of the conflicting image of the two characters. On one she portrays a rich elite woman and on another she portrays a simpler girl who wants to be a golfer. The two dramas that she is a part of are KBS 2TV’s "Ojak Brothers" and "Birdie Birdie."

Uee "I Like Guys Like 2PM’s Chansung"

After School’s Uee showed strong interest towards 2PM’s Chansung. Uee appeared on KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together” and she said, “I like guys like 2PM’s Chansung.” On the episode of “Happy Together” episode, they played a game where the male/female guests became couples. Before they began the games, the guests were asked who they would want to partner up with.

DBSK Yunho Withdraws from SBS “Kiss & Cry”

DBSK’s Yunho has dropped out of SBS “Kiss & Cry” due to his busy schedule. The producer of the show told local media, “Yunho voluntarily withdrew from the show because of his tight schedule.” “Kiss & Cry” has proceeded to the fourth round so far. On August 2nd, the recoding for the fifth round was held, but Yunho and his partner Claudia did not take part in it.

Stars Attend VIP Premiere of "Arrow, the Ultimate Weapon"

The VIP premiere of the new movie "Arrow, the Ultimate Weapon" was held at Lotte Cinema in Seoul on August 1. The historical action drama takes place during the Joseon dynasty and focuses on a man’s search for his younger sister and her fiance, who disappeared amidst an attack by Chinese warriors. The premiere was attended by the movie’s stars, Park Hae Il, Ryu Seung Yong, and Moon Chae Won. Also in attendance were Son Ye Jin, Lee Min Jung, Han Hyo Joo, Cha Tae Won, Park Shi Hoo, Son Dam Bi, Min Hyo Rin, Park Ha Sun, Nam Gyu Ri, Seo Ji Seok, Lee Byung Joon, Ryu Tae Joon, and Kang Sung Yeon.
