Lee Min Ho Confirmed for Drama "Faith"

The star Lee Min Ho of “City Hunter” and “Boys Over Flowers.” On April 3 Lee Min Ho’s agency Star Haus Entertainment confirmed that Lee Min Ho will appear on the new SBS drama “Faith” (Or Shin Eui) which will broadcast in August. As we reported before, Kim Hee Sun was confirmed for the drama. The new drama will have a historical setting which will be Lee Min Ho’s first try.

Star Audition to Create Season 3 Despite MBC Labor Union Strike

The second season of MBC "Star Audition" ended on March 30 with 12.1% rating. Compared to last season’s finale episode, which accomplished 21.8% in rating, this was a disappointing result. The second season of "Star Audition" was greatly affected by MBC Labor Union strike: a live episode was cancelled unexpectedly and producers and emcees were changed. As a result, the program’s quality was not up to par with the first season and the viewers could not help but to notice the difference.

"K-Pop Star’s" Star Studded Mentor Lineup

On the previous episode of SBS’ “K-Pop Star”, the top six contestants were announced as the winners of the debut project. Each of the six finalists were evenly divided and cast to one of the top three K-Pop agencies (JYP, SM, and YG). The finalists will begin the process to survive to the top five as they will undergo special training with their agency. The results of their training and who will make it into the top five will be broadcast live on April 1.

“Lie to Me” which stars Kang Ji Hwan has been broadcast on the Japanese channel TBS since March 15. The drama has a high viewership rating and is continuously gaining popularity. A representative of the Japanese company that owns the right to the drama stated, “Currently Kang Ji Hwan’s character ‘Hyun Ki Joon’ has won the hearts of Japanese female viewers by amplifying the charms of sweet romance. Kang Ji Wan currently has expanded his fan base in Japanese women and we believe that his popularity from the public will grow as well.”
