Big Bang performed live for the first time since Daesung’s tragic car accident at the “Big Bang BIG Mini Concert” on June 25h. During this mini concert held to celebrate the release of LG Optimus Big smartphones, Big Bang showed up without Daesung, and instead had a back dancer fill in for his part. Following the performance, Big Bang held a Q&A session with the fans, and at the end of the show some of the members addressed the urgent situation the group is currently facing for the first time.

YG Speaks Out for the First Time Regarding Daesung’s Accident & Autopsy Results
Earlier today, we reported the autopsy results regarding Daesung’s May 31st accident. Yonhap News was able to get a short phone interview with Yang Hyun Suk, head of Big Bang’s YG Entertainment. He replied, “Daesung will take the moral responsibility for the accident and follow the legal procedures.”

YG Leaves Words of Condolence for Motorcyclist on YG Blog
An update was made to the official YG Life blog in the form of a message on Friday. The post had been made in regards to the incident involving Daesung. On Thursday, Daesung paid a visit to the victim’s family to properly apologize and offer to pay for the victim’s entire funeral expenses. Along with that YG Entertainment’s president Yang Hyun Suk had made a detailed statement and apology concerning the matter on the YG Life Blog back on June 1st.

In an exclusive report today, local media Dispatch interviewed the taxi driver, identified only as Kim, involved in yesterday’s car accident by Daesung. He was the first person to spot the motorcyclist who got killed in the accident and the only witness of Daesung’s crash into his car.
