BEAST Engages in Lawsuit to Get Rid of Harmful Media Status

BEAST’s agency Cube Entertainment has filed a lawsuit in order to get rid of the “harmful media” status for BEAST’s songs. Recently SM had a similar lawsuit and in court, it was decided that having the word “alcohol” in the lyrics of a song does not make that song “harmful media.” Cube Entertainment is following suite in order to get rid of that status for BEAST’s first album.

Cube Entertainment Artists Practice for “United Cube Concert in Japan”

On August 25th, Cube Entertainment released photos of their artists practicing for the upcoming “United Cube Concert in Japan.” The photos include G.NA rehearsing for her new single, “Top Girl,” performance as well as 4minute and BEAST training in comfortable clothes. All the artists seem to be at ease, enjoying their time together, despite having one of the biggest Japanese concerts of the year coming up soon.

The First "United Cube Concert-Fantasy Land" is Held

On August 14th at 6:30PM in Songpa-gu, Seoul at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium the first ever Cube family concert was held. The concert named, “United Cube Concert-Fantasy Land” featured performances by the popular acts 4Minute, Beast, and G.NA. The Cube concert saw hundreds of spectators in attendance for the outdoor stage.

Japanese Group U.I.C. Accused of Plagiarizing BEAST

Plagiarism controversies have been common in K-Pop as of late. The public has seen copycat groups performing in other countries. For instance BEAST’s hit “Shock” was accused of being plagiarized by Vietnamese group HBO and OK-Bang from China sounded and looked oddly enough like Big Bang. Another accusation of plagiarism has been made involving BEAST thanks to the sensitive ears of clever netizens.

4minute, BEAST and G.NA as PR Ambassadors for the KAC

Cube Entertainment’s singers, 4minute, BEAST and G.NA are now PR ambassadors for the KAC. (Korean Airports Corporation.) The KAC announced on July 5th, “The idols 4minute, BEAST, and G.NA that are on the peak of Asian stardom have been chosen as PR ambassadors.” “The Korean Wave stars of Cube Entertainment have a dynamic image that match the image of Kimpo International Airport.”

BEAST to Represent Korea at the "MTV World Stage in Malaysia"

Not long ago Cube Entertainment revealed that the international superstars, BEAST, have been invited to and will perform at the “MTV World Stage in Malaysia 2011” as representatives for Korea. “MTV World Stage” is an international music festival that features performances by world famous artists. So no doubt this is a great honor and achievement for BEAST and Cube Entertainment as well, to be the ones selected out of all the other Korean idols.
