KBS “Music Bank” – Mar. 16, 2012

BIGBANG was named the K-Chart winner for the second consecutive week on the March 16 episode of KBS “Music Bank.” Although they were not in attendance, BIGBANG defeated Ailee’s “Heaven” for the top spot of this week’s show, hosted by Lee Jang Woo and After School’s Uee.

Mnet "M! Countdown" – Mar. 15, 2012

BIGBANG takes Song of the Week again on Mnet “M! Countdown.” 2AM debuted new songs off their release “F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Way of Love.” B1A4 was likewise back with a new song. Lyn and NU’EST completed the week’s featured new releases. FT Island, miss A, Se7en, John Park, Nine Muses, EXID, Tony & SMASH also performed on the mid-month edition of “M! Countdown.”

John Park to Shoot a Free Throw for WKBL

Super Star K2’s John Park will shoot a free throw for the Women’s Korean Basketball League. (Hereafter, WKBL) The free throw shot is the basketball equivalent of a baseball throw for a baseball game. John Park will be shooting a free throw for the game between Shin Han Bank and Samsung Life.

John Park: "Song Hye Gyo Is a Goddess"

John Park could not speak more highly of actress Song Hye Gyo, whom he recently recorded a duet song with. Recently, he appeared on Mnet "Entertainment Wide News" and talked about his experience of working with Song Hye Gyo. He said, "I met Song Hye Gyo to film a scene where we sing together for a TV commercial. It was a great honor and pleasure. I’ve always liked her as an actress." He added, "She was so nice and friendly. I was very thankful to work with her. She treated me very well even though I’m only a rookie singer."

Mnet "M! Countdown" – Mar. 8, 2012

BIGBANG’s "Blue" is Mnet “M! Countdown” Song of the Week. BIGBANG, though yet to appear on the show next week, came out triumphant with “Blue” against miss A’s “Touch” and John Park’s “Falling.” Nine Muses, C-REAL and Bohemian came out with new songs. Busker Busker lit up the show with a special performance. “M! Countdown” performances of the evening included the “hot stage” of FT Island, Se7en, MBLAQ, Tony & SMASH, John Park, K.Will, Brian Joo, Dal Shabet, Brave Girls, SPICA and WE.

Song Hye Gyo and John Park Release their Duet “Switch” MV

The Commercial Music Video for “Switch” was released on March 8. The duet between Song Hye Gyo and Superstar K2 John Park is going to be used for the makeup brand Laneige. Here is a description of what is going on in the Commercial MV. Song Hye Gyo says, “Phew… I want to sing.” Then she receives an invitation from John Park. Before she enters the studio, John Park looks at the camera saying, “Hello I am John Park, I am honored at the opportunity to sing with Hye Gyo nuna. I will focus on harmony.”
