MBC to Air Special Concert in Support of Jeju Island’s Bid for “New Seven Wonders”

MBC will air a special concert program titled “D-100 Concert-Love Jeju Island” on August 2nd. Featuring a star-studded lineup of MBLAQ, Secret, Wheesung, Maya, and Rainbow, the show will last for about 75 minutes from 7PM on Tuesday, which would be the 100 day point till the final selection date for the “World’s New Seven Wonders.”

Producer of MBLAQ’s “You & I” Lauds G.O’s Vocal Skills

The producer of MBLAQ’s latest single, “You & I,” has lauded G.O’s vocal skills in a recent interview with local media. “I was surprised by G.O’s hidden vocal skills. He’s a good friend who wants to achieve a lot. Although he was very tired from his busy schedule, he wouldn’t complain and would continue to work on the song until he’s satisfied with it,” Kim Hyun Woo, the producer of the song said.

Three of K-Pop’s biggest idol groups, 2NE1, MBLAQ, and BEAST, swept Germany’s “VIVA Clip Charts,” taking the top three spots of the list this week. 2NE1’s smash hit single, “I Am The Best,” ranked #1, followed by MBLAQ’s “Mona Lisa” and BEAST’s “Fiction” at #2 and #3, respectively. Even rookie group HIIT came in at #50 with their debut track, “Good Night,” making this week’s VIVA chart filled with popular K-Pop songs.
