2ne1’s maknae does a CF for me2day. Following fellow member Sandara Park’s CF, 2NE1’s maknae, Minzy, has released a CF promoting me2day. For those who are un-aware of what me2day is, it is often described as a "Korean twitter," and is a micro-blogging site.
2NE1’s First “Lonely” Live Performance and Footage of Big Bang’s Chiba Concert
2NE1 gave their first live performance of “Lonely” on today’s “YG on Air,” which also featured footage of Big Bang’s Chiba Concert in Japan. “Lonely” has been dominating Korean music charts since its release last week, but the group never gave a live performance of the song.
2NE1 to Perform “Lonely” on SBS “Inkigayo”
As opposed to what they had initially said, 2NE1 will perform “Lonely” on TV. YG Entertainment said through their official blog YG-Life today that 2NE1 will appear on SBS “Inkigayo” on May 29th to give the first and only live TV performance of “Lonely.”
2NE1 to Start TV Promotions?
YG Entertainment (YGE) posted this mysterious message on its official blog “YG Life” Tuesday night, asking “Do you perhaps want to see 2NE1 on TV?” The message comes as a bit of a surprise since YGE last week said 2NE1 has no plans for TV promotions for their latest single “Lonely.”

2NE1’s garnered much attention for wearing outfits in their "Lonely" music video that exceed the production cost of the video itself. Their stylish and flamboyant outfits are from Parisian fashion powerhouse “Balmain” founded by French fashion designer Pierre Balmain. Balmain, which has been one of the most trendy and hot label lately among luxury brands, have been beloved by worldwide musicians such as Kayne West, Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Michael Jackson.

2NE1’s Dara gave a special lecture today at Yonsei University on the topic of consumer behavior and marketing. Local media reported that the star singer spoke for about an hour and a half on her experience of starting out as a celebrity in the Philippines, returning to Korea as a trainee, and eventually reaching global stardom as part of 2NE1.
