Special Performances, Collaborations, And Events To Look Forward To From KCON:TACT 2020

The upcoming KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER will feature many special performances, including collabs, units, covers, and more!

KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER is an online event that will take place from June 20 to 26, during which Mnet will air a marathon stream of live and pre-taped content for seven full days on YouTube. The event will include both free content and paid content for those who purchase a membership, combining a mix of live performances by K-pop artists, meet-and-greet sessions, influencer-led panels, interactive programs, and more.

The week-long event boasts a lineup featuring MONSTA X, GFRIEND, IZ*ONE, LOONA, Stray Kids, Kang Daniel, MAMAMOO, (G)I-DLE, Chungha, ITZY, TXT, and many more.

The event will see the reunion of Wanna One members Kim Jae Hwan and AB6IX’s Park Woo Jin with a special collaboration, while MONSTA X members Joohoney and I.M will perform as a hip hop unit. LOONA and ATEEZ will cover NCT 127‘s “Cherry Bomb” and EXO‘s “Growl” respectively.

Fans will also be able to see never-before-seen performances from LOONA, VERIVERY, A.C.E, AB6IX, and VICTON. Ahead of their comeback on June 23, Golden Child will perform their new songs “ONE” and “OMG.” ITZY will perform “Nobody Like You” for the first time and GFRIEND will recreate their hit “Rough” as a ballad. All seven groups from “Road to Kingdom” will also showcase their memorable performances from the series.

Many of the groups performing live at the event will also be participating in online meet-and-greet sessions with fans. These sessions will utilize different AR technology to help fans and artists interact in a new way while also creating events where fans can sing and dance with these artists, creating a one-of-a-kind stage. One-on-one video call interview events will also be open for around 5,000 fans all around the world.

KCON STUDIO will also feature a collaboration of content from artists and YouTubers. ONEUS will participate in random play dance with child dancer and YouTuber Awesome Haeun. TOO will hold a K-pop idol dance school with YouTuber Park Mak Rye (also known as “Korea Grandma”). The event will also touch on K-beauty with EVERGLOW and beauty YouTuber SSIN.

KCON:TACT 2020 runs its seven-day-long stream from June 20 until June 26 at 10 p.m. KST.
