BTS Earns Double Crown On Gaon Weekly Charts; NCT DREAM And Oh My Girl Hit No. 1

Gaon Chart has revealed its chart rankings for the week of May 16 to May 22!

BTS achieved a double crown this week, topping both the digital download chart with their new single “Butter” and remaining No. 1 on Gaon’s Social Chart 2.0.

After sweeping last week’s charts and earning a quadruple crown, NCT DREAM claimed No. 1 on the album chart for the second consecutive week with their first full-length album “Hot Sauce.”

Finally, Oh My Girl’s latest title track “Dun Dun Dance” rose to No. 1 on this week’s overall digital chart.

Album Chart

NCT DREAM continued to dominate the physical album chart this week: not only did their latest album “Hot Sauce” remain No. 1 for the second week in a row, but their 2018 mini album “We Go Up” also reentered the chart at No. 5.

SHINee’s Taemin’s new mini album “Advice” debuted at No. 2 on this week’s chart, followed by ENHYPEN’s “BORDER: CARNIVAL” at No. 3 and fromis_9’s “9 Way Ticket” at No. 4.

BTS’s “Butter” debuted at No. 1 on this week’s digital download chart, while Taemin’s “Advice” and Heize’s “HAPPEN” entered the chart at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.

NCT DREAM’s “Hot Sauce” stayed strong at No. 4, and Im Young Woong’s “My Starry Love” rounded out the top five for the week.

Overall Digital Chart

Oh My Girl’s “Dun Dun Dance” topped this week’s overall digital chart, followed by Justin Bieber’s “Peaches” (featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon) at No. 2 and Brave Girls’ “Rollin’” at No. 3.

BTS’s “Butter” entered the chart at No. 4, while IU’s “LILAC” came in at No. 5 for the week.

Streaming Chart

Justin Bieber’s “Peaches” (featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon) rose to No. 1 on this week’s streaming chart. Brave Girls claimed two spots out of the top five, taking both No. 2 with “Rollin'” and No. 5 with “We Ride.”

Oh My Girl’s “Dun Dun Dance” rose to No. 3 for the week, and IU’s “LILAC” stayed strong at No. 4.

Social Chart

BTS continued their reign at No. 1 on Gaon’s Social Chart 2.0 this week, followed by Im Young Woong at No. 2 and BLACKPINK at No. 3.

Finally, Kim Ho Joong and TWICE held onto their respective spots at No. 4 and No. 5 this week.
