Bae Yong Joon’s Visit to Japan Paralyzes Airport

Bae Yong Joon descended in Japan’s Haneda Airport for the first time in nine months, causing the entire airport to become paralyzed by a swarm of fans who came out to greet him. Bae Yong Joon arrived in Tokyo on Sep. 2 with Kim Soo Hyun for the “Dream High Premium Event” set to be held on Sep 4. Despite the heavy rain, more than 4,5000 fans came to see the Korean actor. “We saw more than 500 fans camp out at the airport from the night before on Sep 1, waiting for Bae Yong Joon and Kim Soo Hyun to arrive. Because of the limited space, some 1,500 fans couldn’t even come inside of the airport and instead had to see him from outside,” a Key East Entertainment representative was quoted as saying.

DBSK and Kara Dominate Japanese Charts

DBSK and Kara have been taking over the music charts in Japan. DBSK’s upcoming album “TONE,” is set for release on September 28 and the excitement for it is evident in the charts. “TONE” has already ranked in first and second in the HMV Japan overall charts. Last August 28, the album was already on the fifth spot in Tower Record’s online reservation rankings and in tenth place on the mu-mo charts last August 30. The album will include two previous tracks, “Why” and “Superstar.” The album will have 13 songs in total, one of the new songs included is “Back to Tomorrow.”

2NE1 Heads to Japan for Debut

2NE1, left for Japan on September 2 in order to proceed with their scheduled promotions. In March, 2NE1 were forced to return to Korea because of the Japanese earthquake. 2NE1 was spotted at the airport as you can see in the following pictures:

American hip-hop artist Ludacris has praised the musical quality of YG Entertainment in his latest interview!

Hong Seung Sung Talks About the Future of K-Pop

Cube Entertainment’s CEO Hong Seung Sung talked about raising his artists into global superstars at the discussion board for his latest book, "There Will Be No Spotlight If You Stop Now," on September 1st.

"I’ll raise them into world stars. The day where our artists will fly around the world for a world tour on chartered planes isn’t too far from now. I’m going to work hard so that Cube artists can succeed as world stars," Hong began.
