American actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson recently praised Lee Byung Hun for his acting in the Hollywood blockbuster sequel "G.I. Joe 2." On January 17, there was a press conference for the movie "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" at the Le Meridien Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. At the end of the conference, Korean reporters were able to meet with Dwayne Johnson regarding actor Lee Byung Hun.

On January 18, a photo of B.A.P.s 6th member, Young Jae, is revealed. B.A.P. finally unveiled all six of its members: Rapper Bang Yong Guk, "Ulzzang" Him Chan, "5-year-old Genius" Zelo, "Won Bin of Busan" Dae Hyun, Dance Prodigy Jong Yup, and last but not least, "Brain" Young Jae.

2PM Releases Japanese Album “Republic of 2PM” in South Korea

2PM’s first Japanese album “Republic of 2PM” was released on November 30, 2011. The album was finally released in South Korea today on January 18, 2012. The album itself caused tremors throughout Japan because of 2PM’s Arena Tour. The album “Republic of 2PM” contains the professionalism that 2PM has fostered through their official debut in Japan that is now in its 1 year anniversary. The album contains a total of 12 songs which includes the song written by Junsu.

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon revealed, “Every time I dated, I was the one that got dumped.” Lee Joon appeared on MBC’s Lunar New Year special “Beat Beat Shake” episode that will broadcast on January 24. Different idols talked about dating. Lee Joon stated, “Girls get tired of me easily. That is why I was dumped every single time.” On a conference January 16, Lee Joon talked about his ideal girl who is none other than Kim Yu Na. He was asked about her and replied, “Nothing has changed. I like Kim Yu Na as a fan and also had said that I consider her my ideal type because she works hard and also achieves her goals.”

IU’s Middle School Voice on Wanted Album

Wanted will release their third official album “VINTAGE” on January 20. A representative of Loen Entertainment stated on January 18, “IU took part in the song ‘Can’t Look with Eyes Open’ and she sang the chorus.” However, the interesting fact about the song is that it isn’t a recent recording of IU. Instead, it is the voice of IU when she was in middle school. The representative said, “IU’s voice is the same as it was before debuted.”

A few days ago, the Wonder Girls released the music video for their new U.S single "The DJ Is Mine" which would be featured on their Teen Nick eponymous movie Original Soundtrack. Today, Teen Nick revealed the latest teaser of the Wonder Girls TV movie "The Wonder Girls" which relates the struggle of five foreign girls who dream of making it big as singers in America. As the story unfolds and the plot thickens, the girls will encounter many obstacles in their way to stardom. They will be battling it up against another girl group, the School Gyrls in a competition held at the Apollo Theater. Love will also be part of the journey as we can see in the teaser.

Super Junior Remakes Hit Turbo Song "Remember"

Kim Jong Guk’s debut group Turbo’s hit song “Remember" was remade by Super Junior’s K.R.Y. (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung) For Yoon Il Sang’s 21st year anniversary album “I’m 21” Super Junior’s K.R.Y. sang the song. The CEO of Nega Networks Lance stated, “Super Junior’s K.R.Y. will sing a version of Turbo’s ‘Remember’ that does not stray too far from the original. It will feature their smooth vocals.”

Big Bang to Appear on Asahi TV’s "Music Station" January 20

Big Bang will appear on the popular Japanese music program, Asahi TV’s “Music Station” on January 20. Big Bang’s comeback is forecast for February and that pushed back the debut date for YG’s new girl group. Originally Big Bang’s new album was slated for a March release. This would have fit in perfectly for their 2012 Big Show concert. However, the preparations for the album were ahead of schedule.
